Sevika arrived in 2011 with a deep longing to share Kirtan, create original chants and lead a Kirtan band. Under Mike’s tutelage Sevika built a regional Kirtan community, developed her skill on the harmonium, crafted powerful chant vehicles and cultivated proficiency and capacity in leading a Kirtan band. Sevika sang response with Mike in venues across the Midwest, including Bhakti Fest Midwest in 2013. That year Sevika launched an album project with Grammy Award winning producer Jeff Ciampa, which led to the 2015 release of her debut Kirtan CD “Love is the Law of the Universe”.
