Neil began working with Mike in 2014. He arrived with great passion and background (child actor, lead singer in college rock band, yoga teacher), a limited repertoire and scant experience leading Kirtan. Neil currently co-leads Kirtan in quarterly events at the venerable Bhakti Yoga Shala in Santa Monica, CA and weekly events at Veda Yoga Center in Los Angeles. Mike has guided and supported Neil in creating a repertoire of original chant vehicles, building extensive Kirtan community, getting the most out of his guitar and harmonium playing, and leading his band. In early 2016 Neil stepped into a recording project with acclaimed producer Ben Ben Leinbach (Jai Uttal, Deva Primal, Krishna Das, etc).
